A Night at the Circus

Last week Brody went to the Greatest Show on Earth!!!! Thanks to Grandma Sherri he was spoiled a ton. We rode the train (Trax) to the circus and he thought he was hot stuff. He loved it!!! Then we couldn't leave with out a toy of course..... This is the motorcycle that he chose, he even fell asleep with it that night. Thanks again Grandma for the great time and memories we
will never forget!

Day off at the Dino Museum

Last week when Juice had a day a day off, we took Brody to the Dinosaur Museum. It was pretty cool until brody climbed his way into one of the exhits....I thought for sure we were going to be paying for some dino bones...... He is just way too fast. Here is a picture of a giant shark that they believe existed with the dinosaurs

Bass Pro Shop

Grandpa Lyle was in heaven...... Bass pro shop in Kansas! Brody loved to shoot the monster at the shooting practice range, see the fish tanks and hide in the tents.

Negro Leagues Hall of Fame

On the way to a Royals game one day we stopped at the Negro League Hall of Fame. It was pretty cool to see....... very interesting to be reminded of how difficult it was for the MLB to emerge from the separate leagues back then. But all of it baisically started in Kansas City with the Monarchs.

Hall of Fame

In the outfield of Kauffman Stadium is a baseball hall of fame so Brody got to see a World Series Trophy up close and personal!

Game Time

We were so lucky to be able to make it to a Baseball game everyday
we were in Kansas City. Brody was such a big boy and as you can see even had to take naps at the games.....What a stud!

Trip to the petting zoo

Our first day in Kansas we were able go take Brody to the petting zoo nearby. He loved seeing all of the animals and feeding the baby goats and fish in the pond.

First Airplane Ride

August 5th we took off for Kansas City to visit our Friends Brooke, John , Cooper and Brody Buck..... This was our Brody's first time on an airplane and he thought he was so big. He had his own suitcase and loved being able to sit in his own chair with a seatbelt and watch movies on the plane. He also slept for half of the flight so that was a nice break too!

(on the shuttle at the airport in Kansas City)

Happy Birthday

Just a month behind......give me a break....... :0)
On Aug 4th our Little man turned two so we took him to Chuck E. Cheese and had a blast.
He loved Chuck E. so much we couldn't leave without a picture!

Happy 4th

On the 4th of July we hung out with the Bloxham side of the family and we had and awesome time. They had a huge blow up that was a waterslide and Brody just ran wild util he couldn't run anymore. While I was taking pictures like crazy Justin was leaning new yard game called Bocce Ball, and Yes, Juice is flexing his muscles in the picture......what a nerd!

After we watched the fireworks and Brody fell asleep shortly after. Needless to say he slept really well that night :0)

Thats my Climber........He would find any way to get up. You cant tell but the top of the slide is probably 10-12 ft. high....he has no fear!

When I grow up......

Bubba (Uncle Jordon) is Brody's Best Friend. He wants to do everything he does and is seeking constant approval from "j". Jordon has had a lot of baseball games lately so if you ask brody where bubba is, his response is "um .....Baseball" Jordo has had an awesome season filled with lots of homeruns (some games more than one) and two no-hitters (one was almost a perfect game). After one of Jordon's games Brody had to wear a helmet just like bubba......but the game must have wore him out (he is weraing a batting helmet backwards)! The picture of Jordon is actually a shot that I took just in time to catch a HOME RUN!

Fun in the Sun

2 weeks ago we went boating with our best friends Jeremy and Lacie Tye. We had so much fun and can't wait to go again. Juice can now water ski, wakeboard, knee board and also "surf" behind the boat. He is getting pretty good at it.
P.S. yes I am really white, but the flash on my camera makes it a little worse in the pic!

Donut Falls

In June we took Brody on a hike to Donut Falls. We didn't make it all the way to the falls because it was still too muddy, but Brody didn't mind...there was plenty of dirt to play in, rocks to climb and trouble to get into. We stopped for a while and threw rocks into the river and Brody thought he was pretty neat!

A Cute Picture with the Jazz Bear

A day out with Thomas

Over Memeorial Day weekend we went up to Park City to ride the Heber Creeper. They changed the engine to look like Thomas the train so now Brody loves "choo choo trains" we had a great day spending some time with just the three of us. After I took Juice and Brody to Chick's cafe. My Grandpa Fred use to take me there everytime we were up in Heber....... They still have great scones!!!!!

An Artist in the Family!

Brody loves to color and his favorite thing to color is himself and the walls. As you can see by the look on his face, he doesn't think mom is very cool by telling him no! If you look close you can see the marker on the side of his face. Then check out the video of the rest of his mural around the house. We knew he was up to something because he was being waaaaaay too quiet.....SURPRISE MOM AND DAD!
